About us
Shea Ray is a luxury skin care brand made using pure Shea Butter from the finest organically grown Shea Trees in Uganda, East Africa. The vision for Shea Ray was first conceived in 2012 during a trip to the region where we visited a Shea farm and discovered for the first time the natural beauty of the product. We left there with the vision to create awareness about Shea Butter and to give people access to Shea in its purest form.
Shea Butter
There are many types of Shea Butter available on the market, however very few have the qualities and purity which comes from the East African Shea Nut. The natural scent and colour of this variety means it can be used in its purest form with no additives, perfumes or cosmetic enhancers. The main components of Shea Butter include Oleic Acid, Stearic Acid, Linoleic Acid. It gets absorbed quickly into the skin as it melts at body temperature.
